Work Package 2: Phonetic and phonological characteristics of speech imitation

The objective of this work package is to provide a precise characterization of phonetic, prosodic and phonological convergence in conversational interaction.

Convergence effects between talkers depending on their respective native variety
Specific attention is paid to imitative speech behavior in dialogs between talkers that do not speak the same native regional variety of French.

Convergence effects in pitch voice
The Manipulated-Voice corpus is used to examine if convergence effects on pitch voice are found between talkers.
